POST 14: TºL LVA & LVO: YOUR INDIVIDUAL DOCUMENT ON THE CONSEQUENCES OF THE CURRENT HEALTH CRISIS We are in a special situation right now, in the midst of a health crisis that we have to face. In this period of coronavirus that affects the world, how can we link this difficult phenomenon, never known before, with the notion of spaces and exchanges?   Personal document:   To begin with, this picture shows us the Earth 'surrounded' by a mask, which from my point of view sums up our current situation in a simple and eye-catching way.  We can then connect this poster with our notion.  First of all we can see different things through this picture:  The mask is all around the Earth, so we can see that this virus affects everyone!  Whether it is in America, France, China, Spain etc... It's a pandemic that affects the whole population.  We can see with the appearance of the mask all around us that the earth is 'enclosed', h...
POST 13: A MESSAGE TO TºL LVA BLOGGERS Coronavirus: The Words You Need To Understand The News The world is currently affected by a special situation. We are facing a complicated health crisis. That is why it is essential to know the appropriate vocabulary: The most important vocabulary in my opinion: to understand what it is and the steps to take.. What particular situation are we talking about? What is this virus called?  To begin, the virus is called: COVID-19: COVID-19 is a highly infectious respiratory disease caused by a new coronavirus. The disease was discovered in China in December 2019 and has since spread around the world. COVID is short for coronavirus disease. The number 19 refers to the fact that the disease was first detected in 2019. The technical name of the virus that causes COVID-19 is severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2, abbreviated as SARS-CoV-2. But on what 'scale' does this virus affect us...
SPACES & EXCHANGES -  Exchanges in  Real Spaces & Virtual Spaces How far is the boundary between real and virtual spaces  becoming increasingly blurred nowadays?   - Description -  Meaning -  Conclusion: Link with Notion -  Ace Computer s  by  Harvey Schwadron:  First of all, we can see on this poster that we are in the street (in an ordinary way: a garbage can, car, shop...). On the right, a man is carrying a briefcase, he is standing in front of a computer shop which seems to interest him. We can see him taking a look at the shop which remains the key element of this poster.  At the front of this shop, we can read clearly: "Welcome, Eco-tourists! Why travel and add to pollution? Stay home and visit exotic travel web sites! " . This puts eco-tourist travellers in the spotlight, i.e. people who travel in an ecological way. Eco tourist is originally a company that organizes ...
Spaces and Exchanges     To begin with, we can clearly distinguish with this mind map, a distinction between different spaces. This is divided into 3 main categories: "exchanges", "real spaces" and "virtual spaces". These are then illustrated with examples. We will first see the distinction between real and virtual spaces and then we will study the exchanges that take place in these spaces. We can see that there are many spaces in the world that can be separated into real and virtual spaces. Indeed these spaces are numerous and can be differentiated but also marked by borders. As we can see in the real spaces, some of them are delimited (North/South, public and private, first world and third world, etc...) or present inequalities. It is therefore thanks to the exchanges that any type of space can be put in relation with the rest of the world. As far as virtual spaces are concerned, they are diverse and varied, and this is mainly done...
Bac blanc: Lycée francais de Madrid Aurelia groleas TL      LVO                II- Expression ecrite  Sujet 1: Speech Ladies and gentlemen, guests, staff and friends, Thank you for being here today for the the inauguration ceremony of our brand new building.    It's a special moment for many of us, b ecause today, some dreams have come true.. As you know, five years ago, this station was just a symbol of the ruin of this city.  We literally started from scratch:  A city whose image was inatractive, lifeless, people apologized for knowing that others lived there... But I've always been proud of Detroit, I was looking at that train station thinking, what if?? What if all we were doing was restoring this fabulous building and making it sparkle...  That's what we did!   Today it has everything we could ever imagine: with cafés, restaurants and shops, as well as offi...
I think what struck me the most was the end of the film because the two killers are young teenagers like us. We see no expressions of regret but a pleasure in killing other young people, other people without any scruples.    We see the atrocity that can happen when we least expect it. Despite a heavy atmosphere and the fact that the characters are filmed from behind which is ennociating of a tragic end...and makes us think about it. However, the film remains calm and slow throughout. The ending therefore appears even more shocking.  What is impressive, would be this aspect of contrasts between the slowness of the film, the banality of the actions. A typical day of a high school student. We see the activities of each character, their hobbies. We see them in the corridors through repeated actions. Effects through slow motion replays. Everything seems calm, heavy atmosphere... we expected a little action but not like that. Not a big massacre...
